  2. @Cypher• your english is good what are you saying
  3. Dude.. when AGUST D returned in Spotify and Itunes out of the blue and it just started charting? Excuse the twitter slang but uhm. WIG. There wasn't even any streaming party, plus that thing's available FOR FREE. And Jung Hoseok himself outcharting every other kpop solo artist with the most #1s in itunes with another FREE RELEASE. The next album won't be here free anymore. There will be active streaming parties about it. It will be expected (unlike with AgustD where it just dropped) and people will be hyped about it. The possibilities of the things it could achieve are E N D L E S S.
  4. Honestly, with the rate of the growth of the fandom, I won't be surprised anymore. We've been breaking many records even though the comeback isn't here yet. I mean... Hobi even charted in itunes in 75 countries. I'm thinking we COULD achieve even just one of these things next comeback. 1. #1 in Itunes in 100 countries 2. 2 Million albums sold And maybe we'll even achieve both. I really don't know what to expect. BTS and this fandom just really goes beyond.. everything - from my expectations to my imagination.
  5. BTS' RM's backpack maker ends fundraising in success By Park Jae-hyuk | see article here CONTINEW, a social enterprise known as the maker of BTS’ RM’s backpack, has successfully completed a crowdfunding event, according to SK Innovation, one of the startup’s sponsors, Sunday. The company which makes bags and wallets using waste materials from cars raised 43.4 million won ($40,000) within 40 days, 14 times more than its initial goal. Its products have been in the spotlight, since BTS leader RM posted a photo of himself carrying the company’s backpack during his trip to Europe with his family on his social media. Other Korean entertainers, such as Kim Saeng-min and Kang Ho-dong, also carried the social enterprise’s bags in their TV shows, so the products have been regarded as the items symbolizing celebrities’ ethical consumption. Plus, SK Group Chairman Chey Tae-won displayed a CONTINEW backpack to emphasize the importance of social value, during the Global Engagement & Empowerment Forum at Yonsei University in Seoul last month, which was attended by former U.N. Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon and Alibaba Group Chairman Jack Ma. Chey mentioned CONTINEW as a successful model for social enterprises. Internet users, who participated in the fundraising event, received card cases, women’s wallets, shopper bags, messenger bags and backpacks made by CONTINEW, depending on the amount of their donations. Last October, the company raised $10,000 in 14 hours as well, after registering one of its bags on Kickstarter, the world’s largest crowdfunding platform. Established in 2015, CONTINEW has achieved remarkable growth with support from the domestic conglomerates, including SK Innovation, LG and Kia Motors. According to CONTINEW, about a half of the company’s employees are North Korean defectors and South Korean women who had lost their jobs after pregnancies and childbirth.
  6. The whole world loves Min Yoongi, because while Min Yoongi deserves the world, the world doesn't deserve him. Honestly still couldn't get over that thing where he donated beef to 39 orphanages in the name of ARMY. Just imagine how happy all those kids were I'm S O F T
  7. YOONGI X BANGTAN GHJGJHGG I'M A SUCKER FOR THAT TOO (but nowadays I've been more Jimin centric but I wouldn't let a YG x Bangtan moment or fic past me) Dude we could be otp buddies suggesting good fics to each other. You have a great taste in ships.
  8. My confession: I'm a sucker for Jimin x Bangtan. All ships with Jimin in it I ship. I can read a fic about Jimin's BTS harem. I don't really have one OTP.
  9. DUDE SAME. I actually only watch the Special stages, but I don't watch their performances in weekly shows because I feel like it's all the same stuff anyway but with different outfits. Amen to this essay. You really went off right here. (also how come we don't have the "Tae sipping his drink on ellen" emoticon yet? That's iconic we should definitely add that.) Tbh I feel like I wanna cry when I see any of their baby photos they're too s o ft. I also learned that having Namjoon as my DP makes me a tad bit calmer and less turbulent. But I'm still Yoongism.
  10. Cypher pt. 4 for me. I love the trap sound they used for this one. I also think Hoseok killed it in this cypher and it definitely showcases his improvement as a rapper. The overall flow of the song was also good. The Love Yourself is really really catchy. I don't think too deep about the songs I like tbh. If Jhope was able to do more in Cypher pt. 2, there's a huge chance that would top this for me.
  11. As a hyung line stan myself, I see a lot of disdain towards maknae line stans for "not giving the hyung line much love" and it's just annoying, yet at the same time I know where they are coming from. It's the hasty generalizations where the problem lies I think. With the part where I say 'I know where they are coming from', it's just that I met a lot of maknae line solo stans in real life and I've gotten really tired of them treating the hyung line as if they're accessories to the maknae line. My seatmate is a "Jungkook bias" who tells me RM is ugly, and as someone who loves RM with all her heart, that's just really shitty to hear. It's sad how that's actually not the only case I can think of wherein I see irl people who call themselves ARMYS trashtalk the hyung line. Tbh when people talk to me about being an ARMY, I automatically assume they are ot7, and hearing such remarks about them from those who claim to be ARMYs is disheartening and disappointing. And I only know one other person irl who actually stans someone in the hyung line (She's a suga stan), which is a sad statistic considering there are lots of self-proclaimed ARMYs in my area that I know about. But I DO know some maknae line stans who are all for OT7. So I refuse to generalize. It's just really common and as a hyung line stan I hate that I have to endure people questioning my tastes in men because they think "Taehyung is more handsome than Hoseok" or shit like that.
  12. It all boils down to the definition of a fan. I think the koop fandom has the tendency to consider superfan behavior as 'real fan' behavior, when in reality you don't really have to dedicate much of your time to be considered a real fan. I've been inactive with BTS for about the whole of 2017 yet I still called myself an ARMY, simply because the boys and their music has a special place in my heart. I wasn't active on any events, and was totally late with all the news. But when someone mentions to me a good thing that happened to BTS even when I was inactive, I'd still be very proud. I don't think that makes me a 'fake fan' if my love for them is true. Also, multifans are extremely common in Kpop despite the fandom culture we have. If you're getting discouraged because of all the bad reputation multifans are gaining recently in the ARMY fandom, all I can say is being a healthy fan is being able to have fun. Being a fan isn't supposed to be a chore to anyone. You don't have to force yourself to continue liking a group you've lost interest in - imo that just appears more fake than leaving. You also don't have to force yourself to just like BTS and only BTS. You like what you like, and no one should police that unless what you like is illegal.
  13. Slushii's version says hi. Just kidding. I liked the remix MV version more. When the album came out, I loved Mic Drop right away and I thought it was perfect. But when the remix came along it's like it just... what's perfect already got even more perfect. It's that thing wherein I say "I didn't know I needed this". I'm also very guilty of singing the english lyrics over the korean ones when I hear the original version nowadays.
