  5. Big Hit Addresses Issues From BTS’s “Muster” Fan Meeting In Busan - Jun 15, 2019 https://www.soompi.com/article/1332374wpp/big-hit-addresses-issues-from-btss-muster-fan-meeting-in-busan Big Hit Entertainment has responded to fans’ complaints regarding issues that arose on the first day of BTS’s “Muster” fan meeting at the Busan Asiad Auxiliary Stadium. On June 15, approximately 100 people were stopped from entering the venue as their identity documents did not match the buyer information on their tickets. Many of those who were not permitted to enter were fans in primary school who bought tickets using their parents’ names or teenage fans who brought copies of their student ID cards instead of their actual student ID cards. Some of the younger fans’ parents who purchased tickets for their children presented certificates of family relations to prove their familial relationship, but the documents were not accepted. Several fans and their parents stood outside of the venue’s entrance and yelled, “Open the door!” repeatedly in protest. Big Hit responded, “We carried out a thorough identity check to prevent ticket scalping. The identity checks were previously announced on the ticket purchasing site, BTS’s fan cafe, and social media.” The announcement on Interpark’s ticket purchasing page for the fan meeting reads, “When receiving your ticket, you must bring a physical identity document through which we can confirm your identity as well as a ticket purchase record. If the identity document is not yours, you will not be able to receive your ticket or enter the venue.” It also reads, “When letting the audience in, we will check people’s identities at random to prevent the reselling of tickets. Even if you have a ticket, if we cannot confirm that the buyer information matches the identity document, you may be not be permitted to enter.” Fans also brought up the issue about concert staff saying sexually offensive statements to fans, but Big Hit responded that there is no evidence to support this claim. Meanwhile, the second day of the fan meeting will take place on June 16 at the Busan Asiad Auxiliary Stadium. 6. Updates: Bighit Addresses... & K-Army pointed out... Big Hit Entertainment Under Fire With K-ARMYs After Police Hurt And Harassed Fans During BTS’s Muster - 15 hours ago https://www.koreaboo.com/netizens/big-hit-entertainment-fire-k-armys-police-hurt-harassed-fans-btss-muster/ BTS recently held their muster, “Magic Shop” in Busan. and over thousands of people came. ARMYs were shocked when police started storming the venue and stopping people from entering even if they had tickets. K-ARMYs shared their experience online, showing how badly the police treated them. "Currently, even people with valid ID’s are being treated as if they are fake and using ‘paper coating’. A lot of people can’t enter the venue. Also, there was an area in which people were all lumped together and were forced to be under control by the police, as if not letting them into the venue wasn’t enough. So is thais all the fan’s fault and not Big Hit’s fault?" It has been reported that over 6000 ARMYs attended and bought the tickets legally. They needed a student ID card made in Korea, and Big Hit Entertainment also announced that paper IDs are fine. During the day of the event, however, police said they were not going to allow students with paper IDs and despite saying they were going to let them into the venue, they locked them inside a room and some ARMYs never saw the concert. They were not given refunds despite not being able to see the muster. " Big Hit is the worst. I hate them even more now. 1. They use different methods to identify people depending on which area they are in. 2. Even if you have a ticket, you can’t get in. 3. They said that having a paper ID was enough, but they didn’t let us in. 4. They are saying how there are no numbers after the resident numbers on the student IDs. 5. The guards took pictures of ARMYs that includes their faces. 6. The guards sexually assaulted female ARMYs. 7. The guards threw chairs at ARMYs. 8. A lot of ARMYs couldn’t enter the venue, but they still let BTS perform. " K-ARMYs are said to be suing Big Hit Entertainment for fraud and damages and are using SNS to spread the word to both local and international fans. #머스터_해명해 #빅히트_해명해 퍼트려주세요 To International ARMY. Please know this situation about yesterday's MUSTER Many ARMY are hurt and they trapped. #머스터_해명해 Please spread this hashtag. If you look below picture. you will know more clearly and correctly. please help pic.twitter.com/EtKuinAR0D — seoyoung (@seoyoun75666044) June 16, 2019 K-ARMYs are using the hashtags #머스터_해명해 (trans: #MUSTER_EXPLAIN) and #빅히트_해명해 (trans: #BIGHIT_EXPLAIN). Big Hit Entertainment has yet to release a statement. Source: https://theqoo.net/index.php?mid=hot&page=1&document_srl=1120587571
  7. BTS Officially Invited To Join Grammy Awards’ Recording Academy As Voting Members Jun 6, 2019 by E. Cha The Recording Academy, which is best-known for its annual Grammy Awards, has officially invited BTS and Big Hit Entertainment founder Bang Shi Hyuk to join its ranks! This week, the famous American institution revealed that it had extended 1,340 invitations to “qualified music creators and business professionals” to join the Recording Academy as members. The BTS members have been invited to join the Recording Academy as voting members, meaning that they will be eligible to vote for the Grammy Awards. Meanwhile, Bang Shi Hyuk has been invited to join as a professional member—a type of membership for music executives, managers, publicists, agents, and other team members that work to support music creators. Formally established in 1957, the Recording Academy held the very first Grammy Awards in 1959. It currently holds the prestigious award ceremony every year to recognize achievements in music, with only its voting members eligible to cast votes and determine which of their peers will be awarded. Congratulations to BTS and Bang Shi Hyuk! source
  8. Netmarble Launches Preregistration for BTS World Mobile Game https://venturebeat.com/2019/05/09/bts-world-pre-registration-starts-for-k-pop-groups-mobile-game/ BTS World, a new mobile game coming from Netmarble, has now opened for pre-registration. The mobile game will feature exclusive photos and videos from the group, which is breaking out from K-pop fandom into worldwide superstardom. Created in conjunction with the global superstars, BTS World will be a is a story-based mobile simulation game that takes players on an interactive journey. It reminds me of Kim Kardashian: Hollywood from Glu Mobile. Clearly, that is what Netmarble is thinking as well, as the South Korean mobile game company invested $190 million in BTS’s music label. “BTS WORLD was developed with the players in mind from the very beginning,” said Seungwon Lee, Chief Global Officer of Netmarble. “Not only do they get to experience something entirely different, but they’re also getting access to a tremendous amount of new and exciting content we created with BTS specifically for the game.” BTS WORLD includes an exclusive 10,000 brand new photos, and 100 exclusive video clips. BTS World also brings players closer to the group, allowing them to virtually interact with members through a 1:1 interactive system. The pre-registration site will also give players a first look at BTS World, including a game introduction, a BTS story, and “From BTS” – a special sneak peek of the game’s “mobile function” that lets players interact virtually with group members. In addition, the site will feature a mini game, pairing players with the member they match with best as a manager through a short series of questions. The game will be released worldwide for iOS and Android devices. This is going to be a little different from Netmarble’s other games, which include Lineage 2: Revolution, Marvel Future Fight, Everybody’s Marble, and Seven Knights Connect with BTS WORLD : https://twitter.com/btsw_official https://BTSW.netmarble.com . . . . Omg... way to capitalize. Aka, fans are gonna turn this into an otome game, isn't it?

Some of the youngest influencers include Greta Thunberg, the climate activist from Sweden, and the K-pop group BTS. TIME’s editors choose the final list, but we want to know what our readers think. Below is a list of dozens of influential individuals who are making an impact on our world. Voting, in partnership with Apester, begins on March 27 and closes on April 16 at midnight E.T. 18. BTS to Appear at Grammy Awards (EXCLUSIVE) February 4, 2019 - Variety Staff With the Grammys just days away, the final preparations for performers and announcers are coming together: Among them, Variety has confirmed with sources that K-pop sensations BTS will be presenting an award at the show. While BTS is up for one Grammy this year, it’s somewhat of a sidelong nomination: best recording package (i.e. artwork) for their “Love Yourself: Tear” album, for which they’re nominated alongside Seoul-based branding outfit HuskyFox. In that category, the group is up against St. Vincent’s “Masseduction,” Mitski’s “Be the Cowboy,” the Chairman’s “The Offering,” and Foxhole’s “Well Kept Thing.” Sources also say nominees Taylor Swift and Maroon 5 will not be attending — the former is up for one award, best pop vocal album (“Reputation”), and the latter for best pop duo/group performance (for “Girls Like You,” with Cardi B). The ultimate get would be an appearance by Drake, whose reaction to awards shows in general has usually been tepid at best. The Grammys, hosted by Alicia Keys, will be broadcast live from the Staples Center in Los Angeles on CBS on Sunday, Feb. 10, 2019, at 8:00 p.m. ET/5:00 p.m. PT. Performers confirmed so far include Camila Cabello, Cardi B, Brandi Carlile, Miley Cyrus, Dan + Shay, H.E.R., Post Malone with the Red Hot Chili Peppers, Shawn Mendes, Janelle Monáe, and Kacey Musgraves. The 61st annual Grammy Awards are produced by AEG Ehrlich Ventures for the Recording Academy. Ken Ehrlich is executive producer, Ben Winston is executive producer, Louis J. Horvitz is director, Chantel Sausedo is the producer, and David Wild and Ehrlich are the writers. source EDIT:
