Mutant Salt

A guy is walking down the street with a bunch of penguins when a police officer sees him. The police office pulls over and stops the guy. He asks him, "What are you doing with all these penguins???" Guy says, "I'm taking them to the zoo." and smiles. Police officer looks the guy over, looks at the penguins and says "Ok. Go on then!" and waves the guy along towards the zoo. Next day, the police officer is driving down the road and sees the same guy with the penguins AGAIN. So he pulls over, gets out and approaches the man. "What are you doing with these penguins? Yesterday you told me you were taking them to the zoo!" The officer shouts at him. The guy replies, "I did take them to the zoo and today, I'm taking them to the movies." That's a dad joke (literally- my father told me that when I was a kid!) in honor of Jin coming home. ---------------------------------------------- -------------------------------------------- ----------------------------------------------- ---------------------------------------------------- Hi there! I go by Mutant Salt. I'm a 51 yr old accountant who owns two cats, has just started crocheting, enjoys gardening (flowers, not veggies) and loves BTS and ARMY. Life has changed drastically for me over the last few years and that has caused me to pause and really think about myself, where I'm at mentally and what I want to achieve. I'm in a period of turmoil and change, perhaps some would call it a mid-life crisis, yet I don't think that's appropriate. A crisis to me is being out of coffee at work. Oh, the humanity! No, it's more of a time to stop and reflect on my feelings, thoughts and actions. It's funny how many times I've heard ARMYs say that. My two cats are rescues and as the saying goes, they rescued me. Perhaps it's the same with BTS? Maybe they find us at our time of need and yet, we end up rescuing them? If that statement is true, then the very least we can do is give them our unconditional love and support. I don't mean crazy, stalker or obsessive love. I saying the type of love you give towards non-family people that you call family. In my mind, I think of them as younger cousins or perhaps nephews- ewe, no! That makes me feel old. Cousins definitely. LOL. I just want to hang out with them on a camping trip around a fire, drinking and talking all night, perhaps breaking into song every now and then.... I'd love to hold Sunday family meals and game nights with them. They come across as genuinely nice guys and I want to be supportive and enjoy them living happy lives- finding significant others, perhaps starting families, perhaps finding new paths beyond music. Wherever the future may lead, I want only the best for them. So I'm here with you, Joining the ranks of an army of ARMY. APOBANGPO!!!!
